CFS Watch
The Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) claims to represent over 300,000 students across the province of Ontario. The CFS has indicated that it intends to pursue the goal of lobbying for high quality, accessible post-secondary education. Instead, the CFS uses its resources to take stances on countless social and political issues irrelevant to postsecondary education. The radical, far-left stances that the CFS take make it impossible to be reflect the views of all their members.
The CFS has a long documented history of corruption, gross mismanagement of student funds, stifling opposing viewpoints, and far-left radicalism. This comes at the expense of representing all students and showing mature and responsible leadership for the student movement.
Why are student fees used to subsidize the extreme left’s occupation of your campus? This website will highlight a number of reasons why de-federation is necessary to take back your voice on campus. Anyone interested in promoting democracy and a balanced perspective is encouraged to broaden this discussion with your student executives and campus media.
We demand accountability. We will regain our voice. We are not represented by CFS.
